To commemorate the renaming of Ohio University’s College of Fine Arts to the Chaddock + Morrow College of Fine Arts, I was commissioned to design a souvenir tote bag featuring bold typography. The goal was to create a visually striking design that was celebratory, memorable, and easily legible while serving both as a functional item and a symbol of the College’s evolving identity.

Throughout the design process, I focused on typographic clarity and visual impact. The final design emphasized bold, modern type that communicated the new name with confidence and simplicity, making the tote both a keepsake and a wearable statement.

I directed the designated team from the College’s Print Club, who skillfully screen-printed the design onto canvas tote bags for distribution during the official renaming ceremony. The response was overwhelmingly positive from students, faculty, and staff who mentioned that they appreciated the design’s clean aesthetic and strong visual presence.
